About Us

Sweet Rose Cafe, LLC is a family-owned business founded by Michele and Michael Trosclair, supporting their daughter, Margaret “Maggie” Rose Trosclair. Diagnosed with Autism at the age of two, Maggie has made remarkable progress through the unwavering love and support of her family. Her journey of growth led her to Nour Coffee Company in Pennsylvania. In this unique enterprise, neurodiverse individuals and their neurotypical peers collaborate side by side in an inclusive and supportive environment. It was there that Maggie’s dream of starting a coffee business began to take shape.

Maggie is currently a rising junior at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marketing through the university’s Bridge to Independence program. With the encouragement and support of her parents, Maggie is now turning her dream into reality through the launch of Sweet Rose Cafe, a mobile coffee business set to serve the local community beginning this summer.

Sweet Rose Cafe will offer premium local coffee, gelato, and pastries from our coffee trolley—infused with the warmth and charm of New Orleans-style southern hospitality. In addition to our regular service, we offer catering for weddings, birthday parties, corporate functions, and other special events. Our service area will include St. Tammany Parish and the surrounding parishes.

In alignment with our values, Sweet Rose Cafe is also committed to giving back. We proudly support local non-profit organizations such as Roses in Bloom, which provides resources and guidance to help young adults with autism reach their full potential. Currently, studies show that up to 85% of adults with autism are unemployed—a staggering statistic that highlights the critical need for inclusive employment opportunities and long-term support.

At Sweet Rose Cafe, our mission is to foster a welcoming environment for individuals of all abilities. We believe that with determination, support, and opportunity, everyone can achieve their goals and aspirations.

We look forward to bringing people together—one cup, one connection, and one cause at a time.
